ABOUT N3-BMS™ SERIES — ISO 26262 ASIL C DISTRIBUTED BMS
Series overview
The Lithium Balance n3-BMS is an ISO 26262 ASIL C certified distributed (master + slave) battery management system. Each slave measures 6–12 cell voltage channels and 2 temperature channels; total packs of up to 360 cells in series are managed up to 1000 V and 2000 A. Adjustable safety and battery parameters for automotive, e-mobility and heavy-duty industrial applications. Field-configurable via Creator software.
The n3-BMS is Lithium Balance's flagship product for functional-safety projects. The master handles centralized decision control while slaves run cell measurement and balancing. The architecture scales by adding slaves according to the physical layout. ASIL C certification meets diagnostic coverage and safe-state transition requirements, shortening OEM homologation cycles.
